Due to financial difficulties, the Portage County Health Department will be forced to close for 10 business days.  Beginning February 12^th through June 25, 2010, the Health Department will be closed on the second and fourth Friday of each month.  The Board of Health will re-evaluate the financial situation and determine if layoffs or additional furloughs are needed. 

The Portage County Health Department will be closed the following days:

 February 12 and 26

March 12 and 26

April 9 and 23

May 14 and 28

June 11 and 25

Free H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics open to the General Public

Special Note: 
After January, free H1N1 flu vaccine will only be available at the
Portage County Health Department and Ravenna City Health Department,
each Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Noon.

Arrival Times:
People are discouraged from arriving in advance of the clinic. No early birds will be taken
